Is there a video explaining the anderson connectors?
On the way!

Regarding the battery eliminator, I’m not certain that the cigarette lighter plug would work in an abandoned vehicle without the key in the ignition (or at least, if the vehicle is not started).
Some vehicles have unswitched or constant-hot 12V accessory sockets. Mine does.
Falcon-119,
My wifes town and country minivan has 2 accessory outlets in the front console. One that the key has to be on like normal, and one that goes strait to the battery and doesnt need the keys. So that is something to be aware of.
Can we get a link to the small OD bag you used for Mrs. JJS’s bag?
We picked or ours up on Ebay. This Amazon link appears to the the same bag- http://amzn.to/1UHiQuK

The vehicle outlet power varies my make and model. My Chevy and my wife’s Ford both had always-on outlets. My Honda needs to have the ignition on to supply power.
note you can buy a extra cigarette lighter plug in and cut off the plug in, note + witch is the tip metal piece – is the side metal piece on the plug end you cut off, mark + from – before you cut the wires, then buy 2 car battery clamps they look like jumping cable clamps but smaller they are used on small car battery chargers they are color coded red is + (positive ) black is – (negative) you can buy them at most auto part stores I would say pretty cheap the safest way to hookup to any 12 volt battery is to hookup + (red) first, then – (black) and unhook in reverse order – (black) first, then+ (red) avoid any unnecessary sparks, battery acid is flammable. if battery is hooked up to the equipment the safest way is to hookup – (black) to the metal part of the equipment as to keep any spark away from the battery if battery is removed from equipment, might want to take battery with you! do not tip the battery over acid will leak out, if there is acid on top of the battery it is A sign the battery is going bad or is bad but may still be usable you might want to clean top of the battery off with water/soap or A rag! do not get acid on you if so wash it off with soap/water it will eat flesh ! I have hooked up directly to the battery terminals + & – never had A problem from age 15 to 62 as I speak ! ps god bless our founding fathers & the militia for the republic ! ps I`m A mechanic by trade from the old school I was in s.c national guard from 1973 to 1983 trained as A field mechanic plus did it for A living and A necessity. WARNING some equipment (heavy & military) use 24 volt systems, how to identify there will be two 12 volt batteries they are hooked together in series there will be A short battery cable hooked to + on one battery going over to the second battery hooked up to the negative this is what they call hooking two batteries in series it will give you A 24 volt battery, for A 12 volt battery you have to disconnect this battery cable and hook up directly to just one battery. WARNING if you hookup A 12 volt system to 24 volts it will burn your equipment up! how to tell how many volts A battery is count how many holes there are in top of the battery each hole is two volts, so three holes times two volts = six volts six holes times two volts =twelve volts.note motorcycles are 12 volts riding lawnmowers are 12 volts and any like type machines A childs electric toy if 6 volt it can be hooked up in series to get 12 volts . note you may need elec.wire tools like 6inch adjustable wrench 12mm 13 mm half inch. wrench different types of screwdrivers wire cutters and so on.
