After filling out HTML form how is it sent through FLAMP/FLDIGI ? ?
Thanks
You’ll want to have your fldigi open, so when you click ‘Auto Send’ it will go out through fldigi. Pay attention to the mode you have selected in flmsg, because that is the mode that it will switch your fldigi to.
We’re just getting local nets started in my area. How again do we get the word of the week? I recall it was via HF net but I can never hear, nor listen at the times the HF net is going. Is there another way to get the net word OTW?
Here is the information from the Net Control Tools page:
https://www.amrron.com/net-control-page/
Net Word of the Week:
During your net, announce the NWOTW and the Authentication Number. This information originates from the biweekly HF 20m National Net, then broadcasts over the Regional/National Net and finally shared during the local nets. Using a single source demonstrates the effectiveness of the nets, identifies any gaps in the network, and helps us practice passing information. As a Net Control Station, you are responsible for obtaining the NWOTW and Authentication Number using non-conventional communications (other than internet or phone). Practice using methods that would be reliable during an internet and/or phone service outage.
If you do not have HF or Shortwave capabilities, or were unable to copy the NWOTW, access the member directory and look for a Ham Operator in your county that does. Then, submit a Contact Request and ask if that member can relay the NWOTW via local communications. Establishing local relay stations will help strengthen the network. If you do not have a NWOTW and Authentication Number, still conduct your net without that information.
If I am unable to hear the voice net but get a good copy of digi net, can I re transmit the digi net on 2m 70cm with all call signs removed just add mine? I have no experience as net control but I could re transmit info. I could do voice also.
Absolutely! 2m/CH3 net operators commonly relay traffic they received in digital modes, over their local nets via voice (phone) mode. Thanks for being out there! -JJS
Great. As soon as I can get the logistics of receiving the nets with consistency I would like to get 2m and ch3 net going in my area. But being mobile during net times is turning out to be a challenge. I was able to here a net through rxtx app but lost cell service before it was over. and thats an every night thing. But I will get it figured out.
LINE 8: Message ID- Line 9: Message Number
Line 8&9 Explanation:
Line 8 is the time HHMM followed by the last three of the
operator’s call (for this example, operator’s call is N7XYZ)
Line 9 is the sequential number for that station’s traffic. So it
that is his 12th message he has put out, it would be 012. So, when put together it should read 1430XYZ-012
How about CH.3 Project mainly unlicensed would we use the last letter of our AmRRON call sign and the 2 digits in the above example my Call sign AmRRON Tango Kilo-62 for the above would be:1430K62012, correct ?
