GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
Thank you all who worked so hard to make it a success, and to all of you who participated. We hope everyone learned a lot!

END OF EXERCISE, T-REX 2025 EFFECTIVE 20250727-1900Z (Noon Pacific, 1500 Eastern)
Great job everyone. We hope you learned a lot and took notes of improvements to make.
Special thanks to the NCSs and Tier 5 Coordinating stations, and the SIGCEN operators for all their hard work.

Thanks to everyone.
We had an enjoyable time with fellow patriots.
Great exercise, I had trouble with Commstatone not posting incoming traffic to the map and main display. Fldigi worked well when I had enough signal. The bands were fading badly most of the time. JS8call worked very well for short messages. I copied them even in bad conditions.
Good Job Everyone.

A big THANK YOU to all those who made this exercise work! I am new to CommStat and Fldigi/Flamp and this exercise helped me greatly increase my ability to use these tools.
First time TREX event for me. And I am so freaking impressed with you all. This was an amazing training experience. I was able to get several comms issues ironed out and fine tuned, and it was great seeing some of what Commstat can do! I’ll definitely be participating next year (or sooner if things go sideways first). Thanks again everyone!
Really glad to hear you got a lot out of it! Thanks for joining in!
Not an AmRRON member (yet!) but have been lurking for awhile. Crashed your party, and had a great time! Normally, I find so little activity on either JS8Call or FLdigi that it is difficult to actually practice doing anything; T-Rex provided a wonderful environment for actually getting to try things. Like for “Adam” above, it was a great learning experience for me–including making myself a “things to do” list. Very impressed with the whole experience.
TREX2025 was well planned, well executed and helped me to discover areas that I need to improve upon = good training.. The first day we had HF Radio Blackouts, due to solar disturbances : good training.
Well done AmRRON cadre and AmRRON team !
Har!
Popeye
I have been monitoring AMRRON for years and this is the first time I monitored T-Rex. My solar was an epic fail 20 minutes in and I had to adapt a few things and got up and running. I can only monitor traffic, but I was able to battle track as things happened. I was not able to get my Comstat to work, but I will keep trying. FLDIGI, FLMSG. and JS8Call worked great. So impressive. Thanks for the experience.
Next steps… get my license so next year I can transmit! Scouts out!
JJS, Where can I find help for CommStatOne? I tried the help group listed on the install instructions but the group is closed to new members. I’d like to get it working for the next event or practice session.
The groups.io was shut down by the developer due to the cost of the service. I have a couple of the Commstat videos in the pipeline to be produced. I didn’t have enough time before T-REX. That will answer most peoples’ questions about install, configure, and use of Commstat. If you are an AmRRON member, there is a lot of help from the AmRRON community in several places mentioned in the Welcome to AmRRON email that all members receive.
For non members, the videos will be forthcoming.
