Impossible to check in on the 40 meter Thursday night net. There is a shrill interference presence at 1900 est. and has been the case on more than one occasion. Sounds like a heterodyne of a sort in west central Florida. Malicious interference? Don’t know. Sincerely, whiskey whiskey-02.
Due to QRM, the Eastern Region Net Control usually shifts (QSYs) to 7.238 or 7.236. Whenever you don’t find a net where it ‘should’ be, search up and down for it. We’re there not too far away.
