This is Part 1 of the post-exercise After Action Report covering T-REX 2026.
In this report the primary intent is to share what Inject Traffic was assigned, and our analysis of the reach of each piece of traffic using information from those who participated in the post-exercise survey.
Additionally, truth is as strange as fiction -- real-world events unfolded as if they were taken right from the T-REX playbook... at the exact same time as the scenario was unfolding.
And finally, the overview summary of the Meshcore analysis during the T-REX exercise. This, and more, will be released as Annexes to the AAR, as well as follow-up reports identifying strengths, weaknesses, solutions, and implementation of additional TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) and "Best Practices" to help us all grow and improve.

Can we see the SigCens aars? Uncharacteristically I had a poor connection with East….maybe it was me….maybey them….both? What traffic did they get? What traffic did they send into the network? What did they pass up? Did they get my injection and other contributions?
That will be covered in Part 2. But any Inject Station can look in the chart of Inject Traffic and see which traffic the SIGCEN received, marked by a green check mark.
Thanks for this portion of the AAR. It is VERY ENCOURAGING to see the inject traffic successes, covering the nation and confirmed at the various sigcens, including making it cross-country to AmRRON National.

NCS, SIGCEN and PPN stationS already transmit current AMCON but should also identify themselves , whether: SIGCEN, NCS or PPN plus the present schedul at the current time.

Regarding the bullet about CommStat:
“Over the course of the exercise, AmRRON National received 138 STATREPs via CommStat
(the majority – nearly 2/3 – of which were received via internet/CommStat server)”
This means that about 2/3 of the people who sent STATREPs via CommStat still had internet to their computing device (maybe they sent RF in addition to internet)? And the other 1/3 sent RF only with CommStat off the internet? That is surprising since it’s the least sacrifice of the event to cut internet at the very least to that one computing device. The first baby step of honoring the spirit of the event would be to disconnect that one device even if you are still running partial internet to other devices. No judgement whatsoever, I just was scratching my head over that figure.
I still wanted to be able to VNC into my shack computer from the home LAN so I just put a rule in my Ubiquiti router to block internet access to that device and it worked well for my partial grid down approach. After TREX, your VLOG #2 opened my eyes to the value of a router to support an offgrid LAN. I had never thought about that and will try to find the K4MACK video you mentioned.
I would like to participate as an NCS or inject next year. Central time zone could use some help. I have an 100w FT-857D configured for digital now.
