After testing Commstat V2 (BETA), the latest full release (non BETA) is now available.  Commstat Version 2.3

  • Now with off-grid mapping
  • Built-in Brevity
  • Built-in Grid Finder
  • Gray (Unknown) category option
  • Click on station map pin to view that station’s STATREP

The following was contributed by Papa Romeo Whiskey, piggy-backing off the amazing work of Whiskey-55 who developed the Commstat dashboard and STATREP management and messaging application which works as a companion to JS8Call, weak signal mode and software.

If you have installed Commstat using the AmRRON Linux build script, your Commstat active folder will be in your Radio folder.

This update is intended to be done AFTER you have successfully installed and tested Commstat Version 1

You can get the latest update files at:
https://amrron.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Commstat_CSV2_to_V2.3_Files.zip

=================================================

Remember these files modify or add to some of the files in CommStatV2.0.  Users should already have taken the steps to install and test Commstatone. Once that is effectively done, move the V2.0 files into commstatone, and test again. Lastly, drop the V2.3 files into commstatone and all should be great. I’ll attach the overview document to this email. It is also one of the files in the upgrade.
Feel free to offer the link to anyone you feel would benefit from my final update to CommStatone.
