AmRRON Custom html form for STATREP V5.1 Now Released

Some of our operators identified an issue with Version 5.00 STATREP html form, which would change the value of the pin field (Field 6) to Red after sending.

A closer examination of the html code when solving this opened up the opportunity to make improvements in the form and optimization of using it over radio.

Improvements and Advantages:
  • Added file header for change tracking
  • Numerous comments made to help understand the html “sections”
  • Status defaults are now set to “normal” (Green) conditions.  Only requiring modifying fields which are Yellow or Red.
  • Default values (Green) are not transmitted – only yellow, red, unknown. This will greatly reduce the file size for “all clear” STATREPs
  • Updated map pin default to Green after Januay 01, 2025
  • General cleanup for html readability.
  • Significantly reduced the instruction area as the color explanations seemed to duplicate the already existing color descriptions

As with the previous STATREP form, Fields 6 through 18 correspond with the STATREP fields 6-18 in Commstat.  This allows for easy generation of Commstat STATREPs from FLMSG STATREPs received over the air.

STATREP V5.1 was added to the inventory on 27 November 2024, replacing amrron_statrep_V5.00.html, with significant improvements and optimization.

V5.00 will be obsolete and no longer included in the downloadable Forms .zip folder after Januay 01, 2025.
