The following changes will be reflected in the AmRRON Signals Operating Instructions, Version 5, and will take effect beginning January 01, 2024, regardless of the release date to SOI V5.
This may require assessing net times and bands to deconflict any currently scheduled local or regional nets.
Every Monday:
AIB Distribution at 20:00Z (20m)
AIB Distribution at 20:30Z (40m)
1st and 3rd Tuesdays (National Nets and Rolling Regional Digital Nets)
National VOICE (20m) 19:00Z
National DIGITAL (20m) 20:00Z (900 on waterfall)
Eastern DIGITAL (40/80) 19:00 Local (900 on waterfall)
Central DIGITAL (40/80) 19:00 Local (900 on waterfall)
Mountain DIGITAL (40/80) 19:00 Local (900 on waterfall)
Pacific DIGITAL (40/80) 19:00 Local (900 on waterfall)
Rolling Regional Nets are scheduled for:
*40m Summer (based on Daylight Savings Time Schedule)
*80m Winter (based on Standard Time Schedule)
* NCS may choose to change the net (QSY) to the most suitable band. Example, if the net is scheduled to take place on the 80m band, but NCS determines the band to be heavily degraded and the 40m band is performing much more favorably, he may choose to direct the net to the 40m net frequency. Guidance for QSY procedures will be provided in the Version 5 Signals Operating Instructions, and other training resources.
Alternate digital net configuration. For stations experiencing loss of data at 900 on the waterfall due to operating on the edge of the band pass, adjusting the frequency (below) and operating at 1500 on the waterfall (during nets only) will place the signal at the center of your band pass.
- 14109.4 @1500 on waterfall
- 7109.4 “ “ “ “
- 3587.4 @1500 on waterfall

Thank you for this update, I’m very much looking forward to SOI v5.
The information on CW nets is still a bit confusing. These are currently listed in search responses:
* PNW CW Net ACN — 1st/3rd FRI, 0200z, 40m
* CW Net — 2nd/4th TUE, 0200z, 40m
* CW Net — WED, 0200z, 40m/80m
* CW Net — 2nd SAT, 0200z, 40m
At some point, could you please clarify which CW Nets are operational (if any) and the correct day/time information?
Many thanks!
RS43
RS43,
ACN is active 1900 PST (-08) on 1st and 3rd Fridays. See page 80 of the SOI. So that is 0300z in the winter. 40m was great at this time in summer from my QTH but has been coming up short for about a month now as it gets dark earlier and there is less daylight per day.
There is some talk about starting something out of Washington on 80m because of the winter conditions. I can not speak for the other 3 nets, because I wouldn’t know what I was talking about.
73!
7W,
Many thanks for the updates on the ACN. I’ll keep an ear out on 80, and please update if you hear anything on the development of that net.
In the meantime, I wish you and your family a joyful celebration of the birth of our Lord. A Merry Christmas to you!
Viva Christo, 73, RS43
