AIB (AmRRON Intelligence Brief)

Weekly AIB will be transmitted during the National Digital Net on 20m Digital Net, AND… transmitted on 40m at 2030Z (for those in the 20m skip zone and cannot copy).   2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays in October the AIB will be transmitted per the normal schedule.

NOTE:  If you use the ‘Sweet spot’ settings in your fldigi confic, be sure to disable it, or change it to 900hz.  If your station is going to be unattended during the nets, set your waterfall at 900hz, and turn off beacons/sounders/heartbeats.

NATIONAL NET (TUESDAY):

1900Z  VOICE

2000Z  DIGITAL at 900 on the Waterfall

 

ROLLING REGIONAL DIGITAL NETS (TUESDAY):

NOTE:  CENTRAL TIME ZONE ONLY In order to avoid interfering with a different 6pm (Central) net on Tuesday nights, the Central Rolling Digital net will be at 6pm (Central) on 7.111 (900 on the waterfall).  If the Eastern net closes early NCS will make announcements on 7.110, then at 6pm qsy to 7.111.

1800 Local Time in each time zone, at 900 on the waterfall.

 

ROLLING REGIONAL VOICE NETS (THURSDAY):

1800 Local Time in each time zone.

 

MAKE A NOTE:  We have volunteer stations who will be exchanging traffic at 1500 on the waterfall while the AIB is being sent in MFSK32 during the digital nets.  One of the things we are evaluating is whether the 100hz separation between band edges of simultaneous digital transmissions is sufficient to avoid interference of receiving MFSK32 signals.
