The following nets have been active in tracking the hurricane and are a
great resource for information, and for calling out for help if for some
reason you cannot reach anyone on the AmRRON Nets.

THE FOLLOWING BULLETIN WAS PUT OUT BY THE NATIONAL SATERN LIAISON TODAY. BE
PREPARED TO QSY TO AVOID INTERFERING WITH ONGOING EMERGENCY TRAFFIC:

*Note the frequencies in use for Hurricane Matthew are some used by AmRRON
and OK for digital ops, so we should probably keep those clear for the
duration of relief operations.

INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR RADIO UNION (IARU):

Arnie Coro, CO2KK, who is the Emergency Coordinator for IARU Region 2 Area C
reports that amateur radio equipment is being dispersed throughout eastern
Cuba for emergency communications on the 80 and 40 meter amateur radio
bands. For monitoring purposes only, here are the pre-planned emergency
frequencies that either are or may be active:

International SATERN Net:14.265 MHz(USB)
Hurricane Watch Net:14.325 MHz(USB)

Cuba (Primary):7.110 MHz(LSB)
Cuba (Alternate 1):7.120 MHz(LSB)

Finally, please note that these bulletins are being copied to all of our
partners including the Hurricane Watch Net (HWN), the American Radio Relay
League (ARRL), the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 2 and to
Area C (the Caribbean and Mexico) of IARU Region 2. I have received
confirmation from Prof. Coro, CO2KK, that he is aware of our activation
plans and frequency.

SATERN Net Managers, Yahoo Group Managers, etc., should publish this
BULLETIN to their networks.

Additional updates will be issued as warranted by conditions and
circumstances.
