In Episode 16-16 of Radio Free Redoubt, John Jacob mentioned the email service, Unseen.is and the importance of having secure email in place. Unseen.is is located in Iceland and they have some of the strongest privacy laws in the world.
UNSEEN is offering 5 lifetime accounts for $99!

Additional Security Recommendations:
As an additional precaution, pgp encryption and Thunderbird email are recommended.
It is important to get these tools in place to send secure email…… while they are still available.
This may be interesting when using a browser. So which one is secure ?

If you haven’t heard about the Dark Web in a while, it’s a sometimes-seedy part of the Internet where criminals, drug lords, and child porn purveyors hide behind encrypted Web browsers like Tor to conduct their business behind a virtual closed door.
TOR is secure when used PROPERLY (emphasis added). For day-to-day activities on the internet, ALWAYS use A VPN. For email, use gpg encryption, end-to-end, with those in your circle who are willing. If you’re discussing sensitive information, such as personal information, business or financial information, etc. Using an off-shore, encrypted email service (such as unseen.is) plus gpg encryption increases your security and privacy many times over.
For a more thorough understanding of encryption and anonanimizing tools I recommend taking K’s course at Combat Studies Group.

I have read some serious criticisms of unseen.is in online forums. I was wondering if you had read any of these and if unseen.is is the ONLY encrypted email service you recommend. I have been using protonmail for a wile now. Please advise.
