When I heard you on a past episode talk about a certain communications group that forbade their members from carrying a firearm while participating, and you said that you wanted to REQUIRE AmRRON members to carry, I said to myself, “I’m in the right place!”
Now, hearing the pathetic complaints and gossip come from a group that REFUSED TO EVEN SHOW UP to help, and how you refused to put up with their baloney, but refuted their accusations with evidence and FACTS, I DEFINITELY KNOW that I am home as an AmRRON member!
God Bless you JJS! Keep up the good work!
Signing off from a remote outpost in occupied territory!
I think the ARRL folks who were ‘no-shows’ in a time of need are the one’s with mud on their faces. With all the accolades AMRRON received for being there demonstrates a mark of true readiness, willingness, and professionalism. This likely has the local officials wondering where ARRL was and I’ll bet that sentiment reflected poorly on that organization. . This lone ARRL response was likely that of one embarrassed individual with perhaps a resulting ‘axe to grind’, and for now, I’d leave it at that. If that sentiment grows however, I for one (as likely most of you) will step up to put that kind of talk in it’s rightful place.
